Serving the Hispanic Community With Purpose

Hispanic Member Services

At First South Financial, we believe that everyone deserves access to financial services that are clear, inclusive, and empowering. That’s why we created Hispanic Member Services—a dedicated resource designed to make banking easier and more accessible for our Spanish-speaking members and the broader Hispanic community.

Our mission is simple: remove barriers, build trust, and provide every member the opportunity to achieve financial success.

Breaking Down Barriers to Banking

For many in the Hispanic community, traditional financial institutions can feel unfamiliar or difficult to navigate. Language differences, documentation challenges, and a lack of guidance can make it harder to open accounts, apply for loans, or build credit.

First South Financial’s Hispanic Member Services was created to change that. Through bilingual communication, flexible identification policies, and personalized support, we make the financial process straightforward and approachable—from the first conversation to long-term financial planning.

What Hispanic Member Services Offers

Bilingual Support

Members can reach out in Spanish or English by phone at (901) 380-7431 or email at vreyes@firstsouth.com. Our bilingual representatives are available to answer questions, explain products, and guide you through every step of your financial journey.

We also offer key product information, FAQs, and resources in Spanish to ensure clarity and comfort for all members.

Flexible Identification Requirements

We understand that not every prospective member has a Social Security Number (SSN) or ITIN. That’s why we accept alternative forms of identification in many cases.

Our approach allows us to look at each member’s individual situation—helping more people access the financial tools they need to thrive.

Access to Full Banking Services

Members using Hispanic Member Services have access to the complete lineup of First South Financial products, including:

  • Checking and savings accounts
  • Auto and personal loans
  • Mortgage loans
  • Credit cards
  • Certificates and IRAs

Every service available to our members is available here—with the added support of bilingual assistance and a welcoming environment.

Bilingual Career Opportunities

To better serve our growing Hispanic member base, we continue to hire bilingual team members across our branches. This helps ensure that communication is clear, service is consistent, and our staff reflects the communities we serve.

In-Person and Phone Assistance

While many services can be handled over the phone or online, some account openings and identity verifications may require an in-person visit. The Hispanic Member Services team can help members understand exactly what’s needed and guide them through the process every step of the way.

A Reflection of Our Mission

At First South Financial, we live by the philosophy of “Banking with Friends.” Our Hispanic Member Services program is an extension of that belief—ensuring every member feels understood, supported, and empowered to reach their financial goals.

We’re proud to stand alongside our Hispanic community and continue expanding the ways we serve with respect, accessibility, and care.
