Emergency Loan
If you've been affected by the many COVID-19 shutdowns, we have a loan specifically designed to help you during this time.
Our Emergency Loan can offer you:
- A loan amount from $500 to $5,000
- A low interest rate of 6.00% APR*
- Payments are based on 2.5% of the amount borrowed and the first payment can be deferred up to 90 days*
You'll need to provide proof of income prior to your employment suspension and something providing an explanation of your suspension.
Loan Payment Deferments and Loan Adjustments
If you've been negatively impacted by this pandemic and need to skip your next loan payment or two, or if you need some other kind of adjustment to your loan*, please complete this short form to let us know how we can help. You'll receive a response as to the status of your request in 1 to 2 business days.
Mobile Deposit - deposit a check 24/7 from anywhere
In order to ensure that you can deposit your tax return, payroll, government stimulus or other check, we have increased our per check and per account limits. We've also revised our check hold policies for checks deposited via mobile deposit. If you need more information, just give us a call or email us at mail@firstsouth.com.
CD and IRA withdrawals
If you need emergency access to your CD or IRA due to COVID-19, we're waiving penalties for early withdrawals. Just give us a call and we'll be happy to see how we can help you.
Small Business Owners
The SBA also updated their site to provide more information what they offer in the way of coronavirus relief options.
Here's some helpful information regarding the Economic Injury Disaster Loan program from the SBA. Also please visit our personal loans page to see what other options we have to assist you.
Many of the local Chambers of Commerce have developed resource pages to help business owners understand the relief options available to them and their staff, as well as how to navigate the application process. We strongly encourage you to reach out to your local chamber to see how they can help you.
