Fraud

If you suspect you might be a victim of identity theft, contact First South Financial immediately at 901.380.7400 or visit your nearest banking center. 

Also, you should call one of the three major credit bureaus immediately to place a fraud alert on your credit file.

Fraud alerts can also be enabled via each credit bureau's web site.

You should also monitor your credit to see if there has been any unauthorized activity by ordering a credit report and scan it for foreign use.

Debit Cards

To report a lost or stolen First South Financial Visa debit card, please call 1.888.918.7809 to cancel your card and stop non-authorized usage at any time.

For customer service for your First South Financial Visa debit card, please call 901.380.7400 or use the messaging center inside mobile or online banking. Customer service is available from 7 am to 6 pm Monday - Friday, Central Time.

You can also use card controls and the card lock feature available in online or mobile banking to lock your debit card if you think it is lost or stolen.

Credit Cards

To report a lost or stolen First South Financial Visa Credit Card, please call 1.866.820.6318 to cancel your card and stop non-authorized usage at any time.

You can also log into online or mobile banking and do the following:

• Use card controls and the card lock feature to lock your credit card, or 
• Report your credit card as lost or stolen and order a replacement card
• Start a fraud claim/transaction dispute

Card Assistance Outside of the US

If you're traveling or living overseas and need assistance with your First South Financial debit or credit card, please call 303.967.1096.

Stolen Checks

If you think your checks have been stolen or have not received checks that were ordered at least 14 business days ago please go to one of our First South Financial banking centers immediately or call us at 901.380.7400. Please try to have the starting number of the checks you suspect were stolen or misplaced. You can place a stop payment* on any checks you think were lost or stolen at any time via online or mobile banking. Also, you may be asked to file a police report if you haven't already.
