First South Financial works hard to ensure that we have the best products, services and member service available to our members.
That is why we're very pleased to announce that we'll be upgrading both online banking and mobile banking to one uniform, user-friendly digital banking platform.
At this time we plan to start the conversion the afternoon of Tuesday, August 11th. Online banking will be unavailable until the afternoon of Wednesday, August 12th.
The current mobile banking app will stop functioning on the morning of Wednesday, August 12th. Android users will need to download the new app in the app store. iOS users will receive an update to the app if auto updates are enabled. iOS users who do not have auto updates enabled will need to manually install the updated version. We expect the new app to be available the afternoon of the 12th.
Please plan accordingly and we apologize in advance for any inconvenience.
It will provide many of the additional features you've been asking for, such as:
Card controls and alerts - lock or unlock your card, enable alerts for transactions, spending limits and more
External transfers - transfer funds to or from accounts you have with other financial institutions
Credit Cards and Mortgages - access your recent transactions, payment history and more on your First South Financial credit cards and mortgage loans in real-time
Travel notices - enable travel notices for your First South Financial credit and/or debit cards in real-time
Do we have your correct email address and phone number on file?
Since many of these features require sending you information or verification codes via text or email, now is a great time to make sure that we have the correct email address and mobile phone number on file for you!
You can check and update your information inside online banking at any time by logging in and clicking on the "Account Settings" tab. Using the blue menu bar just below that tab, you can update your email address and the phone numbers we have on file for you.
If you would like to verify the information we have on file for you, please give us a call at 901-380-7400 and we can help. For security purposes, we cannot update phone numbers or email addresses over the phone. That can be done in person at a branch via the drive-thru or in the lobby, or you can update it yourself inside online banking.
We'll be sending out more information via email and adding more information here as we get closer to the conversion date, so stay tuned for more details!

When you log into the new digital banking the first time, you may need to reset your password, depending upon its complexity. You will need to use two factor authentication the first time you log in.
