External Accounts

transfer funds into and from your first south financial accounts

Setting up external accounts is easy!

You need a few pieces of information first:

  • The ABA routing number for your financial institution
  • Your savings, check or loan account number

Once you enter that information, we'll send two small trial deposits to verify the account, which can take 1 to 3 business days.

When the two trial deposits post to your external account, make a note of the amounts and the order in which they posted. 

Then, log back into online or mobile banking and enter the two trial deposit amounts to complete the account verification process.

Once your external account has been verified it will be available as an option for setting up transfers.
