New features now available in online and mobile banking

Craig Esrael, President and CEOJust over a year ago we made the transition to a new digital banking platform. We did this to ensure that our members would have access to better features and functionality along with enhanced security, making banking with us even easier and more secure. The response from members has been very positive and I've appreciated reading all of your comments, app reviews and feedback you provide via the message center inside online or mobile banking, via email and via our surveys.

We work very hard to maintain our "high-tech,high-touch" approach to ensure that we can meet your needs in the manner that is most convenient and accessible for you. Our branch network keeps expanding to provide you with an in-person option for conducting your financial transactions. According to the service ratings on our branch surveys, which are consistently 3.95 or higher on a 4.0 scale, and our near perfect Net Promoter Scores of 95.76 out of 100, we are delivering the quality of service you expect and deserve from us.

We also recognize that you expect us to provide the best in class technology that allows you to manage your finances from any device at any time, which is one of the biggest reasons we chose this new online and mobile banking vendor. As a fourth generation cloud-native platform, they introduce new features just about weekly that positively impact the end user's experience or our ability to manage the platform.  Almost daily we receive 4 and 5 star ratings for our mobile app, which translates to an overall rating of 4.87 out of 5.0 in both the Apple and Google app stores.

And as part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring our technology provides the features and benefits you want, our eServices team has worked hard to launch two new features that we think you'll really enjoy!

Make a loan payment with a debit or credit card

This new feature provides members with the ability to pay their First South Financial loans with a VISA debit card or a MasterCard debit or credit card. If you're in a hurry and need to make a quick payment, this convenient option allows you make one in less than a minute! Open an additional account

Another great feature that just went live is online account opening for existing members via online or mobile banking. When you login you'll see "Open an Account" as a new option on the main menu. With just a few clicks or taps, you can open a wide range of accounts - from savings to checking to money markets and club accounts. Once the account is opened, you can transfer funds into it, set up recurring transfers or external transfers from accounts you have with other financial institutions, plus get the information you need to set up any direct deposits to the new account. Just click or tap on Details for any account.
