We believe involvement in our communities is a critical part of who we are, and we highly encourage and support our staff to volunteer when they can.

Our SVP of Marketing, Delynn Byars, gives back to the community by taking her pups, Luc and Archer, to visit patients at a local hospital. Luc, a 6-year-old Husky mix, has been comforting patients for three years, and Archer, a 1-year-old Australian Shephard mix, just passed his evaluation in January.

Delynn says, “I really enjoy being able to give back to my community in this manner. It’s so wonderful to see Luc and now Archer put smiles on people’s faces and brighten what may very well be a tough day. It just makes my heart happy. I’m very thankful to First South Financial for supporting me and Mid-South Therapy Dogs and Friends!”
