If you suspect you might be a victim of identity theft, contact First South immediately at
901.380.7400 or visit your nearest branch.
Also, you should call the three major credit bureaus immediately to place a fraud alert on your credit file.
You should also monitor your credit to see if there has been any unauthorized activity by ordering a credit report and scan it for foreign use.
Stolen ATM and Credit Cards
To report a lost or stolen First South ATM card contact us at 901.380.7400, for Credit Card or ChekConnect™ VISA debit card, please call your credit card company at 1.800.449.7728 AND notify First South at 901.380.7400 so we may stop non-authorized usage. You may also stop by any First South branch.
Stolen Checks
If you think your checks have been stolen or have not received checks that were ordered at least 14 business days ago please go to one of our First South branches immediately. Please try to have the starting number of the checks you suspect were stolen or misplaced. Also, you may be asked to file a police report if you haven't already. Please see our branch for additional steps and details.
